Embodied Movement Circle

(trauma-informed, 3-sessions)

This three-session program is designed to guide participants on a holistic inner journey of emotional release and self-discovery through movement and mindfulness. Drawing from trauma-informed practices, psycho-education, and embodied movement, this program offers a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect deeply with their bodies, senses, and emotions. Each session builds upon the last, integrating mindfulness, authentic movement, and creative expression to foster personal growth, emotional release, and resilience.

With a maximum group size of 8 participants, this intimate setting encourages connection and trust. Guided intuitively, the sessions are enhanced with live sounds such as singing bowls and drums to deepen the meditative experience. Participants will leave feeling empowered, grounded, and more in tune with their body’s wisdom.

Participation in the Trauma-Informed Embodied Movement Program is only possible after a consultation with me to ensure the program aligns with your needs and readiness. The sessions are designed to guide participants through deep emotional exploration, which may evoke intense responses. To ensure a safe and supportive experience for everyone, I invite you to contact me to book a 10-15 minute phone call before registering. This will allow us to discuss the program in detail and assess if it’s the right fit for you.

Session Summaries

Day 1: Creating Safety and Foundation

This session lays the groundwork for the program by establishing a sense of safety and trust. Participants will explore mindfulness practices, mindful embodied movement, and vocal release exercises to begin connecting with their body and emotions in a supportive environment. Furthermore this session introduces psycho-trauma education, including Polyvagal Theory.

Day 2: Understanding Trauma Through the Body and Exploring Authentic Movement

Building on the first session, the first half of this day participants will engage in Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) and other Polyvagal Theory-informed movements to deepen their understanding of how trauma manifests in the body and how it can be released.

The second half of this day focuses on the practice of Authentic Movement, a form of self-directed movement that fosters self-awareness and emotional expression. Participants will learn to listen to their body’s innate impulses, allowing for organic and intuitive movement in a non-judgmental space.

Day 3: Inner Child Dance, and Integration, and Reflection

In this session, participants will reconnect with their inner child through playful and expressive movement. This process encourages a sense of freedom, creativity, and joy while also providing a safe space to explore and heal deeper emotional layers. The second half of the day is dedicated to reflection and integration of the program, allowing participants to consolidate their journey and prepare to carry these tools into their daily lives.
